For the second consecutive game, the Tennessee Volunteers found themselves in the midst of a Jekyll and Hyde performance.

Just four days after surrendering a fifteen-point second-half lead to Alabama, the Vols found themselves in a similar situation against TCU. The Vols led by fourteen points at halftime, only to be outscored 48-22 in the second half, resulting in a 75-63 loss.

The Big 12/SEC match-up was controlled by the Vols in the first half, who excelled beyond the arc with eight three-pointers and clamped down on TCU defensively, holding the Horned Frogs to 26 percent shooting in the first half.

Senior guard Kevin Punter Jr. led the way, scoring 15 points in the first half and finishing with 24 points overall, his fifteenth 20-point game of the season. Forward Armani Moore did a little bit of everything; scoring ten points, grabbing seven rebounds, dishing six assists, and stealing three passes.

Despite building a 41-27 halftime lead, the second half was a complete 180 for the Vols.

After shooting 8-of-16 from beyond the arc in the first half, the Vols (10-11, 3-5) missed all 15 three-point attempts in the second half.

Punter scored on a driving layup to put the Vols up 52-46 early in the second half, but the Horned Frogs went on a 23-5 run and never looked back. During that span, the Vols missed 15 of their 16 field goal attempts and went more than eight minutes without making a shot.

The Horned Frogs (10-11, 1-7) were led by Chris Washburn, who finished with 15 points, nine rebounds, and five assists.

The Vols return to action in Knoxville on Feb. 2, where they will face the No. 20 Kentucky Wildcats.
