Beauty Blog: How to create an eye look for fall

Well it’s officially fall. You know what that means, pumpkin spiced lattes, ugg boots, taking unrealistic pictures of fall leaves on the ground and sweater weather. The BASICS. On the flipside, it is also time for darker eyes and lips with a very warm tone look. Today I will show you my take on a fall look.

Well it’s officially fall. You know what that means, pumpkin spiced lattes, ugg boots, taking unrealistic pictures of fall leaves on the ground and sweater weather. The BASICS.

On the flipside, it is also time for darker eyes and lips with a very warm tone look. This fall the trend is the 90’s look, thanks to Kylie Jenner’s monotone makeup look. Also grunge makeup seems to be in. In any case it’s basically browns and mauves that have a matte (no shimmer, sparkle, anything. Pure one color) finish.  Today I will show you my take on a fall look.

I’ll be using the LORAC Pro Palette. I have previously featured in how to blend eyeshadow post here. If you have it, then pull it out. If not you’ll still be good! Just find similar colors in your own collection.

Bare Faced. Excuse my eyes. I had done a different look earlier. I didn’t like it, scrubbed it off.

Now here we are to square one. Also enjoy my glasses tan line on my nose.

I have already primed my eyes. I have also applied the color Taupe all over the eyes. Here I applied a mixture of Sable and Espresso into my outer corner and blended it into my crease.

I applied the color Mauve into my crease. This will help to blend out any harsh lines from the previous shadows. I blended it out well with another fluffy clean brush.

I took Jordana 12HR Made to Last Liquid Eyeliner Pencil in Black Point (which you can conveniently find at the Walgreens on the Strip) and lined my upper lashline. I smudged it out with a small brush, a pencil liner will do.

I went ahead and added whatever was left on my brush to my lower lashes, I did not add any extra product to the brush! I also added some false lashes. You don’t have to do this. I did this because I’ve been experimenting with lashes for a few days. I used Kiss Ever EZ Lashes in KPLM03 (comes in a multi-pack).

There is your easy grunge/90’s fall eye look.

Next week, I’ll be taking about fall lipsticks.
