Preview: BOO! at the Zoo
U.S. Cellular is sponsoring Knoxville’s BOO! at the Zoo. There will be candy, costumes, animals and other entertainment.
BOO! at the Zoo is back again for its 33rd year, and U.S. Cellular is the sponsor. This is one of Knoxville’s largest Halloween events for people of all ages.
Attendees can experience an evening with friends, family and plenty of animals.
This event will take place every Thursday through Sunday, starting on Oct. 10 and concluding on Oct. 27.
BOO! at the Zoo runs 5:30-8 p.m. each evening.
Zoo Annual Pass-holders and U.S. Cellular customers can purchase tickets for $9. Children 4-years-old and under get in for free. All other tickets are $10 per person.
Attendees can collect candy and make memories at the zoo. Additionally, there will be a variety of entertainment for children to participate in.
People will be able to see the zoo’s animals as long as the weather is good.
“My kids love going to this event. I can’t wait to let them dress up and go make memories,” Knoxville local Devon Nichols said.
Many of the event volunteers will be dressed up and ready for photo opportunities. Attendees can also ride the ‘Scary-Go-Round,’ East Tennessee’s only “haunted” carousel that goes backwards and plays Halloween music.
The Knoxville Zoo would like to remind people that no weapons or toy weapons of any kind are allowed on the property.
They would also like to let customers know that Oct. 10 is Annual Pass-holders night.
