C&C Bistro, the sister restaurant to Coffee and Chocolate is located off Clinch Avenue and offers an original French menu. When thinking of romantic cities, Knoxville doesn’t come to mind, but with an authentic French cuisine designed by chef David Franchuck, the feeling of being in the most romantic city in the world is an order away. Chef Franchuck studied in France for three years and has brought an original French menu, carefully paired with wines and chocolates, to Knoxville. Cafe 4 has been a Market Square favorite for years. The menu is seasonal and offers a large variety with a mixture of foods; from sandwiches and burgers to steaks and seafood plates, all with southern ties. The dining area is a dimly lit, private area that offers a nice setting for couples enjoying a Valentine’s dinner.  $$-$$$

3. Naples Italian Restaurant 

Naples has been the Southern Italian go-to restaurant since 1978. The menu is unique, fresh and delicious. The dining area offers a traditional Italian restaurant ambience without the pricey tickets to Europe. One of the greatest attributes Naples has is that it’s been around for decades. Sapphire, sitting just off Gay Street in Downtown Knoxville, brings a modern feel to an old location. With live music, a gorgeous bar anda smaller but thought-out menu, Sapphire offers a twist to the traditional Valentine’s dinner. Friday and Saturday nights are the nights to go, with live music that is sure to impress. $$$-$$$$
