1. Valentine’s Day Cruise

4. Zen Evo Chocolate Lover’s Valentine 5k
For the athletic couples looking to burn some calories while supporting a great cause with your valentine, this 5k is for you!
Enjoy a beautiful run, chocolate strawberries, hot chocolate and graham crackers on a brisk Valentine’s morning. The goal is to get as much chocolate as possible and to run as fast as you can, while enjoying the day with your sweetie.
The 11 a.m. run time still has over 130 spots open, so grab your sneakers, your Valentine’s date and come run for a good cause. The race supports the Lymphoma Society, and is non-competitive.
Awards will include t-shirts for couples and of course, chocolate.
The 5k will take place in Victor Ashe Park, and both runners and walkers are welcome.

5. Fifty Shades of Grey
Chances are your date has heard the hype about the new Fifty Shades of Grey movie premiering Valentine’s weekend. Take your special someone to a local Knoxville movie theater to experience the drama and romance of the new film as it debuts.
Fifty Shades is Valentine’s Day appropriate as it tests the boundaries of love, fantasy and courtship.
There’s not a much more romantic way to kick off your Valentine’s celebration than with a steamy, sultry film that men and women have been itching to see since the trailer first came out.
The Regal Riviera Theater has tickets available for a showing of the film at 7:10 p.m. and 10:40 p.m.
