Film Review

Brooks has good size at approximately 6’5” and 235 pounds, and he also possesses good speed for a bigger guy, clocking in with a 4.70 second 40-yard dash. He gets off of the line very effectively and runs his routes efficiently due to his ability to change direction well. He has shown the ability to stretch the field against defenses, and he is a matchup nightmare. He is an athletic tight end with dependable hands who can come up big in the passing game. While he is not considered the best blocker, Brooks has shown the ability to  utilize his size and strength to hold blocks well.

Offenses love to utilize big, athletic tight ends as match-up problems for defenses. Tennessee is fortunate enough that Brooks has decided to bring his talents to Knoxville, and the Volunteers’ offense will benefit from what he brings to the table.
