Beauty Blog: Bright summer eyeliner hues

Summer will be creeping on us soon enough which means bright colors all around. To help you break out into an all out color festival, I’ll be giving you my picks for colorful eyeliners that you can wear throughout the summer season.

From top to bottom:

Sephora Collection Contour Eyeliner in Purple Stilettos: This is the only pencil liner on the list because I love my liquid liners. However, this is a beautiful purple that has some sheen which creates depth and dimension versus a regular matte purple. If you’re not about that purple liner life, then check out the Sephora Collection at Sephora because they carry a huge range of colors. This line would work great with a brown or even black smokey eye.

Jordana Cat Eye Liner in Suede: Here’s another purple liner, and it is really great and inexpensive. Jordana Cosmetics can be found at Walgreens. These retail for about $2.99 and offer other shades. This is a deeper purple and can be a replacement for the standard black liquid liner.

Wet n Wild Megaliner in Turquoise: I have no idea why this is called turquoise when it clearly isn’t blue enough. This is a green liner that can be used for liner art such as some polka dots around your eye or stripes. It’s a great bright color to wear when you’re feeling lucky.

WNW Megaliner in Indigo Blue: This is a bright blue and is reminiscent of Urban Decay eyeshadow Chaos from the Electric Palette. It is the only shadow from that palette that I want, and this is a perfect alternative. The brightness of the blue would pair perfectly with a smokey eye to give it that color it needs from all of the darkness of the shadow.
