UT issues refunds to students
According to an email sent by OneStop on Tuesday, UT will issue refunds to students for some student fees for this semester.
Prorated refunds will be issued for the following student fees: on-campus housing, meal plans, study abroad fees, transportation fees, and parking permits. The refunds will be prorated to reflect the time period of March 23 to May 9. Students who are eligible to continue living on campus for the remainder of the semester will not receive refunds.
Students are encouraged to log in to their MyUTK account to select or set up their e-refund account by March 27 to make the process quicker. Accounts will be updated on April 6 to reflect the prorated refunds. Any students with unused flex dollars should also log in to their MyUTK account to request a refund to their VolCard account or bank account on file.
Students who continue living on campus for the remainder of the semester will not receive refunds for services. Additionally, any refunds will be paid towards outstanding balances.
