One of the most popular present-day Christmas stories, Elf, is coming to the Tennessee Theatre Nov. 16-17.
Audiences will follow Buddy the Elf, the tallest elf at the North Pole, as he goes on a wild journey to find his human family. Along the way, this elf shows his human family, and New York the true meaning of Christmas!
Elf the Broadway Musical will be running for two days only in November. Show times include: 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 16 and 1p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 17.
Tickets can be bought online at the Tennessee Theatre website or call the Tennessee Theatre box office at 865-684-1200.
The family-friendly production is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Just in time for the holidays! Knoxville native, Daniel Evans said, “I’m so excited to see Elf this weekend with my family. I watch the movie almost every day leading up to Christmas so it’ll be different to see it in a live musical!”
Elf was originally a movie that premiered in 2003 starring Will Ferrell as Buddy the Elf. The film directed by Jon Favreau was nominated for 7 awards and took home 2; including “Best Comedy” from the Golden Trailer Awards.
Elf the Broadway Musical is the second production for Broadway at the Tennessee Theatre this year. Future performances include: Memphis, Million Dollar Quartet, Stomp, and Jersey Boys. All tickets are available online in a package or individually.
