  2. Tom Brady, QB, New England – 27 points
  3. Rob Gronkowski, TE, New England – 27 points
  4. Julio Jones, WR, Atlanta – 26 points
  5. Carson Palmer, QB, Arizona – 25 points
  6. Marcus Mariota, QB, Tennessee – 24 points
  7. DeAndre Hopkins, WR, Houston – 23 points
  8. Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Tampa Bay – 23 points
  9. Tony Romo, QB, Dallas – 22 points
  10. Alex Smith, QB, Kansas City – 22 points

For a more comprehensive breakdown of this week scores, check out ESPN’s fantasy football scoring leaders.

Who to add

  • Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE, Tampa Bay – Tampa Bay may finally have found their quarterback in Jameis Winston which should equal a bigger year for Seferian-Jenkins. He netted 23 points in week one, which was the eighth highest score this week. With Mike Evans’ hamstring injury you should expect more targets heading Seferian-Jenkins’ way.
  • Dion Lewis, RB, New England – Lewis would be a good pick up this week if your normal starting running back got hurt in week one. He will see the majority of the snaps for the Patriots in week two and is only owned in 17.1 percent of ESPN leagues.
  • James Jones, WR, Green Bay – Week one saw several big time wide receivers go down to injury. So if you need a fill-in for a few weeks, Jones is a great option. It may be too early to say Jones will take over for injured Jordy Nelson, but if week one is any indication, Jones is a quick steal.

Who to drop

  • Devin Funchess, WR, Carolina – The key here is that Funchess is just a rookie. He should improve over the coming weeks. However, for the moment it looks as though he won’t be the early replacement for injured Kelvin Benjamin.
  • Donte Moncrief, WR, Indianapolis  Moncrief is someone that is hard to put a figure on. On one hand, you would think with the injury to T.Y. Hilton, he might see more targets. But with the way the Colts offense played last week, it will be a wait and see game to see how he does after week two or three.
  • Charles Sims, RB, Tampa Bay – Sims only put up three points in week one and should continue to be the backup for the Bucs. The problem here is he probably won’t see the same workload as last year with Doug Martin back.
