Aspiring photographers and other UT students came to listen to established photographer John Messinger's lecture on Nov. 5 in the Art and Architecture building.

On Monday Feb. 2, McClung Museum hosted a printmaking artist panel for the “Drawn from the McClung Museum” exhibit. This exhibit is where print makers chose museum artifacts to inspire their art and will be up until May 24.
A “Hunger Games” themed ball took place at Cocoa Moon on Nov. 14. Guests dressed in Capitol inspired fashion, and all proceeds went to charity.
On Monday Nov. 10, Ewing Gallery opened Color Refined, an art exhibit curated by Sam Yates and co-sponsored by the Visual Arts Committee and the Ready for the World initiative.
The 35th Annual Greek Fest took place at the Saint George Greek Orthodox Church from Sept. 26-28 and featured Greek food, music, dance, art and more.
The Visual Arts Committee hosted an art talk with photographer, Brett Warren, on Sept. 25 in the McCarty Auditorium. The lecture served as a part of the committee’s initiative to introduce unique viewpoints to the student audience.
On Sept. 15, the UT Cinema Club presented the independent film “Something, Anything” for free to view in the Art & Architecture building at UT.
