Vol on the Street: Final exam edition

The end of the semester at the University of Tennessee approaches quickly with the last day of classes Dec. 4. Following the study day Dec. 5, final exams last until Dec. 13.
Often, this time of year proves stressful for students with final exams and course projects. Here on UT’s campus, Vols help Vols. So, some students shared their study practices and tips to help alleviate stress.
Hodges Library holds various “De-stress For Success” events around exam time to help students relax and study for their tests. On study day, Hodges will hold a writing blitz for students to receive help with their papers. Additionally, therapy dogs will visit. Hodges Library will also offer snacks and massages.
Dec. 5 from 10 p.m. to midnight, the Multicultural Mentoring Program will hold its Late Night Breakfast for students still studying. The program charges $3 to attend or ask that students donate three cans of food in exchange for the breakfast.
Hodges will remain open 24 hours during the final exam period. The extended hours start at 10 a.m. Dec. 2 and end at midnight Dec. 13.
