Chelsea Weaver, has been working at Dazzo’s since May as a cashier and waitress. Weaver insists that their “grandma’s pizza” is not only her favorite item on the menu, but it is the most popular item as well. The pizza is made with a thin crust and is brushed with olive oil infused with roasted garlic. The finishing touches on the pizza are the “grandma’s sauce” on top followed by shredded mozzarella.
Dazzo’s has been in business for 6 years and is owned by Martha Boggs, who also owns the Bistro at the Bijou. Adam Myers is the head chef at Dazzo’s.
“We really depend on people who come downtown to go to shows at the Bijou and the Tennessee Theatre to help our business,” said Myers.
Chelsea Weaver agreed with Myers.
“We derive most of our business from the Tennessee Theatre and the Bijou Theatre,” said Weaver. ” We also get a lot of business during the [football] games; the games make it kind of crazy down here.”
