Dead Man’s Farm is back again and redesigned to insight the highest amplitude of fear. Located in Lenior City, the farm offers a unique haunted house experience. It is not like other haunted house set-ups because the land has a spooky past.
It is said that the land belonged to the Bludgeon family, who were heavily involved in witch craft and the unusual torturing of their farm hands and animals. The family created a supernatural disease which is now being leaked throughout the land. Brave civilians venture into the house and are haunted by the ghosts of the family along with some of their cannibal friends.
A group of friends from Knoxville fled the house together screaming as a man with a chainsaw chased after them.
“It was really really creepy,”said Madeline Seals, 13.
Those who enter the house come face to face with a plethora of unusual characters, many appearing disease crazed.
One of the girls, Alli Dew, thought the experience was terrifying, yet thrilling.
“The scariest part was the swamp lady,”said Dew. “At the beginning, she wouldn’t let me go and it was the scariest thing; she even chased us on the bridge. The lady who was trying to eat us in the kitchen was very scary too.”
The site also offers multiple activities for those who are afraid to enter the haunted house. These include bonfires, music, concessions and live acts such as fire breathers, poi spinners and fire eaters.
There are also two additional events hosted at the same location: Deep Well Farm and Zombie Hunters Paintball.
