1.  The Vols are 13-4 against the Razorbacks.

2. The last meeting between the two teams was in 2011, when Arkansas took a 49-7 win in Fayetteville.

3. The series started in 1907 with a 14-2 win for Tennessee in Memphis.

4. The Vols are 6-1 against the Razorbacks in games played in Knoxville.

5. After playing independent for 20 or so seasons in program history, Arkansas joined the Southwest Conference as a charter member in 1914. The Razorbacks moved to the SEC in 1992 when it expanded.

6. Tennessee was one of the original 13 members of the SEC, which formed in December of 1932.

7.  The Razorbacks are coached by Bret Bielema.

8. Arkansas has 15 returning starters from last season; eight on offense and seven on defense.

9. The Razorbacks were first known as the Cardinals, but after a win against LSU  in 1909, coach Hugo Bezdek said his players looked like “a bunch of Razorback hogs,” and the nickname stuck.

10. Arkansas Razorback fans call the hogs. They chant “Woo! Pig! Sooie!” at all Arkansas sporting events.

11. The Tennessee offense is averaging 41.2 points and 431 yards per game and have turned the ball over just twice.

12. The Arkansas offense is averaging 26.2 points and 471.5 yards per game and have turned the ball over five times.

13. Jalen Hurd is Tennessee’s leading rusher with 402 yards and seven touchdowns.

14. Alex Collins leads the Razorbacks’ rushing attack with 502 yards and four touchdowns.

15. The home team has covered the point spread in six of the last seven meetings between these two teams.
