D’Montre Edwards is a student athlete at the University of Tennessee. He was born and raised in Charleston, S.C. He is the son of Gwen Simmoms, who is the mother of 5 beautiful children. Edwards was born on April 20th 1992. He is now a 21 year old senior at the University of Tennessee. He is a Journalism major who one day plans on becoming a sports broadcaster on the highest level.

Growing up, he followed sports very often, particularly NBA basketball. He also would love to play basketball on the highest level before pursuing his sports broadcasting career. He grew up watching the Lakers at their best and he is now a die hard fan of the Miami Heat in which his favorite basketball player is Dwyane Wade. As he grows older and becoming more mature he now sees how serious having a college degree is.
