10:07      Republicans Randy McNally and Richard Briggs will hold onto their seats in the Tennessee Senate.

10:01      Martin Daniel has held onto his seat in the State House of Representatives in a narrow race against Greg MacKay. He will join Jason Zachary, Bill Dunn, Martin B. Daniel, Dave Wright and Justin Lafferty as republican representatives from Knox County.

9:55      Gloria Johnson will join fellow Democrat Rick Staples in the Tennessee House of Representatives for Knox County.

9:22      Marsha Blackburn will replace Bob Corker in the U.S. Senate.

9:13      Tim Burchett will be the next U.S. Representative for District 2. He will replace Jimmy Duncan in a district that has been controlled by Republicans since the Civil War.

9:09      Gloria Johnson leads Eddie Smith by 13 points for State Representative District 13.

9:07      As the first results trickle in from Knox County, Richard Briggs is ahead of Jaime Ballinger by 11 points for State Senate District 7.

9:04      Tim Burchett leads Renee Hoyos by 20 points for the U.S. House of Representatives.

8:51      Bill Lee will be the next governor of Tennessee. His win marks the first back to back republican governors since before the Civil War.

8:35      Marsha Blackburn holds a 30 point lead over Phil Bredesen for U.S. Senate.

8:32      Bill Lee still holds a 30 point lead over Karl Dean for the governor race.

8:27      While initial election day reports show Burchett with a huge 60 point lead, early voting numbers show Burchett ahead by a smaller 22 point margin.

8:15      Tim Burchett holds a 60 point lead over Renee Hoyos for the U.S. House of Representatives District 2.

8:11      Marsha Blackburn more than doubles Phil Bredesen’s numbers, leading by 38 points in the U.S. Senate race.

8:10     Bill Lee starts off with a commanding 47 point lead over Karl Dean in the governor race.
