Melitta Markey is a 19-year-old sophomore majoring in journalism and electronic media and minoring in business administration at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She graduated from Independence High School in Thompsons Station, Tennessee in 2012 and attended the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga for a year before transferring to Knoxville. Transferring to the University of Tennessee at Knoxville was an easy decision for her since she had heard great things about the news broadcast program at Knoxville, which is what she plans on specializing in along with visual studies.

Sam has always been interested in this field because of his mothers career as a video editor and seeing all of the experiences she has had through her work. After he graduates Sam has no clue what he will actually do.

He lived in Sacramento, California until he was 18 before moving to sunny San Diego to pursue his further progress his baseball career as a pitcher. After obtaining a community college degree in Business Administration from San Diego Mesa Community College, he took a semester off before being accepted to University of Tennessee. He currently resides in Knoxville.

Elyse Cheatham is a junior and a Journalism and Electronic Media Major. Elyse is bi-coastal. She was born in Sacramento, California raised in Atlanta, Georgia. However, she returned to living in California during high school. Upon applying to colleges, Elyse wanted nothing more than to get back to the south. Elyse transferred from Fisk University to the University of Tennessee. Thus, making the decision of her college career. Elyse is striving to graduate with honors and pursue a career as a broadcaster.

Edwards was born on April 20th 1992. He is now a 21 year old senior at the University of Tennessee. He is a Journalism major who one day plans on becoming a sports broadcaster on the highest level.

Brandon Rupert was born in Ann Arbor, Mich. on February 5, 1986. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in Tecumseh, Mich. in 2004. He then attended Washtenaw Community College and received an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts. After attending community college he worked for Balance Consulting, LLC, also in Ann Arbor, Mich. as a software salesman and consultant. In 2008 he joined the United States Marine Corps and served in Operation Enduring Freedom. He was Honorably Discharged in 2012. He now attends the University of Tennessee and is pursuing a degree in journalism.

Trevor hopes to one day be a fashion editor for a magazine. His sights are set on a lesser known, independent, magazine because he would like to grow with the magazine. This is opposed to working at a major publication like Vogue or Marie Claire.
