Film Review

Maleik Gray’s status as one of the top athletes in the class of 2017 is unquestioned. His defensive tenacity and nose for the ball are unteachable. What really stands out about Gray’s athleticism is his ability to use it to harass whomever is in his way. His long strides allow him to sidestep potential blockers and quickly eliminate distances between himself and ball carriers. Although he spent much of his high school career at outside linebacker, most scouts project Gray to be a college safety. His 6-foot-2, 190-pound frame should benefit the position as he puts on more muscle over the next few years.
