UT’s Coleman Thomas arrested for alleged felony theft

Tennessee starting offensive lineman Coleman Thomas was arrested Wednesday on a felony theft charge.

University of Tennessee offensive lineman Coleman Thomas was arrested Wednesday for allegedly stealing a student’s Xbox One along with several games.

The alleged theft occurred at Reese Hall on campus sometime on March 13, just before spring break. According to court records, the sophomore tried to sell the stolen property at a local gamestop.

Thomas, who plays center and offensive tackle for the Vols, appeared in 11 games as a true freshman last year and started in five of those. He was in attendance at UT’s first spring practice on Tuesday.

Thomas is to be arraigned April 7 in General Sessions Court.
