The presentation started with a short clip of a movie about the death penalty

“It costs millions more to kill someone than not,” the clip said.

Krone started by telling about his childhood. He talked about how he was in the armed forces. Krone then spoke about his time in Arizona as a postal worker.

Krone said he returned home from work one day to be questioned and later taken to jail for a murder he did not commit. “I could not believe this happened to me,” said Krone. He went on, telling how he got off death row.

“I enjoyed hearing his side of the argument, it really makes you think,” said Jermaine Norman, a freshman majoring in geography.
