In celebration of Veteran’s Day, UT’s Vol Fighters host their first Combat Fitness Challenge on Nov. 12 to show students and faculty what training is like for a Marine.
Teaming up with different food allergy centers, UT Gardens decided to go candy-free for its 5th annual Trick or Trees event to spread awareness of food allergies. Children were excited to dress up as his or her favorite characters and win prizes for participating in different games.
The International House hosted one of its three World Showcase programs this week, ending with Culture Night. The program turned its focus to Saudi Arabia, providing Saudia Arabian food and coffee, teaching facts about the country and hosting a trivia game.
The fall semester is currently underway, and for those who need an escape from papers and exams, the Hollingsworth Auditorium on UT’s agriculture campus is where you will find Vol Tango. This event offers students, faculty and the community free tango lessons on Monday nights from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
