The Vols will face the Wildcats on Saturday in what may very well prove to be a key game for Tennessee’s bowl chances.
Tennessee jumped out to a big lead and turnovers in the first half before coasting to a victory against the University of Alabama at Birmingham on Nov. 2.
After a close first half, Tennessee took over in the second and scored 24 points while keeping the Gamecocks out of scoring territory.
Tennessee looks to have a shot against a tough South Carolina team in Neyland, but the quarterback position remains a question.
The Volunteers played well, but could not keep up with Alabama in the end.
Tennessee will travel to Tuscaloosa on Saturday to play the top rated and undefeated Alabama Crimson Tide.
