Volapalooza announces 2014 line up, Fitz and the Tantrums to headline

The 2014 Volapalooza line up was announced during Vol Night Long on Feb. 28 at 11 p.m.

Critically acclaimed neo soul band Fitz and the Tantrums will be headlining this years Volapalooza with special guest The Dirty Guv’nahs and the Delta Saints. The Dirthy Guv’nahs were present at Vol Night Long to play an acoustic set after the reveal.

This years event will be held on Friday, April 25 in Thompson Boling Arena.

Volapalooza is held on the last day of class in the spring semester as a way to celebrate a successful school year and give students a chance to unwind before finals. The end-of-year concert began in 2002 and has extended to its 12th year.

Past performers have included Three 6 Mafia, Ziggy Marley, Girl Talk, Passion Pit, Tyga and many others.

Students can register to volunteer at Volapalooza and tickets will be available next week.
