LP Field prepares for upcoming game

This Sunday at 4:05 PM (ET), the Tennessee Titans will play a home game in Nashville, Tennessee at LP Field against the Super Bowl runner up’s, San Francisco 49ers. This season, the 49ers have 4 wins to 2 loses and the Titans hold 3 wins to 3 loses. The 49ers have won 7 of the 12 games they’ve played against the Titans. However, the Titans won the last game against the 49ers, on 11/08/09, by 34 to 27.

Titans are ranked 10th in the league with 194 passing and 108 rushing yards, to the 49ers ranking of 9th in the league with 191 passing and 141 rushing yards.

Though Titan coach Mike Munchak said Friday he was undecided about which quarterback would start, a source confirmed for ESPN that Titans quarterback Jake Locker is expected to start following a two-game absence from a right hip and knee sprain. Locker completed 62.2 percent of his passes for 721 yards and six touchdowns without any interceptions over the 4 games he played at the beginning of the season.

When asked about the upcoming game against his former team, Delanie Walker said “I think we’re going to talk and laugh before the game.. but you know how it is when the pads go on and the whistle goes.” It can only be assumed that the Mike Munchak and team are thinking the same thing.

The game begins on Sunday, October 20th, at 4:05 PM ET
