Press conference highlights:

  • Defensive end Darrell Taylor will be suspended indefinitely after reports surfaced that he stomped on offensive lineman Trey Smith’s face.
  • Receiver Marquez Callaway will be healthy and play in Saturday’s game against South Carolina.
  • Volunteer’s quarterbacks Quentin Dormady and Jarrett Guarantano split snaps at practice 60/40.
  • Guarantano will receive his first career start for Tennessee against the Gamecocks.
  • Offensive lineman Brett Kendrick and defensive lineman Kendal Vickers downplayed the locker room chemistry being off after the second player altercation in three weeks for the Vols.
