Cuonzo Martin will be the next coach of Cal Basketball
Despite reaching an agreement earlier this month with Tennessee brass, it appears that coach Cuonzo Martin will be headed to coach basketball at the University of California.
Early in the year many Vols fans were calling for the firing of Coach Martin, but after a late season push and a near birth in the elite eight turned public opinion around. This huge shift in perception might not have been enough for Martin to pass up on another opportunity where the fan base had more patience for him.
With Jarnell Stokes leaving and Jordan McRae gone, this team will have a completely different look in 2014 and the new coach of the Tennessee Volunteers (whoever he may be) will have a huge task ahead of him.
