Originally from Watertown, NY, Yolanda Ortiz grew up mostly in Clarksville, TN. She moved to Knoxville to attend school and is a senior majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media on the visual and magazine track with a minor in English.  Yolanda hopes to work in production for a magazine or work with new media. Currently Yolanda is working on creating a monthly newsletter for the Tennessee Journalist. She is also completing her practicum at the Knoxville News Sentinel with Knoxnews.com and is working with Scoop magazine this semester. You can find her every weekend at Texas Roadhouse in West Town serving steaks and margaritas to Knoxvillians. Her interests include working out, taking pictures, cooking and watching movies.
