Staysha Greene is a sophomore studying Journalism and Electronic Media with a minor in Spanish. Born and raised in Chattanooga, she grew up in a Christian home with her parents, one younger brother, and an older sister. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, cooking, shopping and watching/playing sports. Her goals here at the university are to experience the field of communications as much as possible and to leave a positive name for herself at UT that others will remember. Her career goals include broadcast writing behind the scenes and reporting news events. A motto that she stands by is: "Do today what others won't do so that you can have tomorrow what others can't have."
