Sarah is in her fourth year at UT but it will not be her last.  She came here as a business major but then changed to public relations and now journalism.  She has always had a passion for writing and is glad to be in such a great program.

She was born here in Knoxville but has lived in Oklahoma, North Carolina and Maine.  She went to high school in a small town in northern Maine where some of her family still resides.

Sarah hopes to spend her career in journalism traveling the globe.  She is drawn to Africa and wants to use her journalist abilities to bring the world's attention to the troubles there.

In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading, music, surfing the web, painting, photography, watching the news, hiking and spending time with her grandparents.
