Steven Cook is TNJN's Sports Editor and a junior at the University of Tennessee, majoring in Journalism & Electronic Media. In addition to his work for TNJN, Steven also works for Bleacher Report as a Featured Columnist and on the Breaking News team, where he's gained massive experience and amassed more than 1 million reads. Steven primarily covers the UT football and basketball beat for the Tennessee Journalist, but also has a semester under his belt as the site's sports editor. His work with the leading student news site has taken him to cover football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, tennis, swimming, and the 2012 SEC Media Days. He's written about everything from horse racing to basketball to boxing to football with Bleacher Report.
Other than his hectic life as a sports journalist, Steven is very involved in the community. He's Vice President of Kappa Alpha Order's chapter at UT and volunteers regularly for Habitat for Humanity and Second Harvest Food Bank.
Steven surpassed the halfway point of his Bachelor of Sciences degree with a 3.0 GPA and graduated from Ravenwood High School in Brentwood, Tenn. in 2010.
