Rebecca Illig is a junior majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media. She was born in Niceville, Fla., and has lived in numerous places across the country. She attended high school in Collierville, Tennessee, graduating in May 2006.
Rebecca is currently the news editor for the Tennessee Journalist. From August 2007 through December 2008 she was a reporter, anchor, videographer and editor for InSight UT, the Tennessee Journalist's weekly web cast.
She is also a certified personal trainer working at the University of Tennessee gym.
Rebecca plans to graduate in December 2009 and will then pursue a career in broadcast journalism.
