Kate Spencer is a senior majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media with a minor in Women's Studies. As a resident of Knoxville, she has always been an avid "Volunteer."

Kate decided to follow the magazine track in journalism and is now looking forward to all her upcoming opportunities in this field. She will graduate from the University of Tennessee in May 2010.

A love of volunteering led Kate to UT's community service sorority, Gamma Sigma Sigma. She pledged in the Spring of 2008 and is currently serving as the sorority's Public Relations Chair.

Aside from school, Kate likes to drive through the Smokies, watch movies, cheer on the Vols and spend time with her family and friends.
