Kyle Cantrell is a senior in Journalism and Electronic Media and plans on graduating in December 2009.
Kyle is from Murfreesboro, Tennessee and graduated from Blackman High School in 2005. He chose to pursue a degree at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
He enjoys spending his free time with his fiance, good Southern cooking and watching college football. An avid sports fan, Kyle claims the Tennessee Volunteers, Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Rays as his favorite teams.
Outside of his life at home, Kyle is also active on campus. He is an member of the National Broadcasting Society and had the honor of serving as their president (2007-08). Kyle is very involved with his fraternity - Phi Kappa Tau. He has served as their Homecoming Chairman twice (2007, 2008) and he is currently serving as the Vice President of Alumni Relations and Philanthropy Chairman.
Currently, Kyle is a writing intern with The ZOI Greek Directory focusing on collegiate Greek life and sports. He will also be working this summer at Phi Kappa Tau's Leadership Academy as an audio/video intern.
Kyle would like to find a job in the sports journalism realm after graduation, but is open to all positions within the field of journalism and communications.
