Andrew "Gage" Arnold hails from the Scenic City itself, Chattanooga, Tennessee and is a junior at the University of Tennessee where he is earning a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and electronic media with a minor in english.

Gage was named the News Editor at TNJN in November of 2012 and currently holds that same role.

He had his first break with writing when he became a writer and soon the editor of his high school newspaper, The Talon.

From there, Gage went on to write for BleacherReport.com and had his articles featured on the San Francisco Chronicle and Philadelphia Enquirer at times. He also participated in Bleacher Report's Intern program for a semester during his freshmen year.

Since then, Gage helped contribute to a Tennessee Athletics website entitled AllForTennessee.com and has taken on a Co-Host position on The Triple Play, TNJN's weekly sports radio show.

Gage is a fan of MLB, NBA, NFL, College Football, and College Basketball with his favorite teams being the Tennessee Titans, Atlanta Braves, Tennessee Vols, and the Memphis Grizzlies.

In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, reading, tennis, running, hiking, listening to live music, and spending time with his friends.

Upon graduation, Gage aspires to one day become a sports columnist for a newspaper or magazine.

Gage also is a passionate follower of Christ. He believes that is the most important thing about himself.
