Born and raised in Knoxville, Janna is working on her degree in Journalism & Electronic Media. In the spring of 2007, she studied abroad in the Netherlands at the Hogeschool van Utrecht School of Journalism. There she studied about European culture and journalism. She was able to travel to different countries with her classmates to create a webzine about urban development in European cities. Janna is currently the editor for the Arts & Culture section. She will graduate in spring 2008 and plans to continue her interest in international journalism. Her guilty pleasure is music and independent movies.
