Haley Capel is a junior at UT Knoxville, majoring in broadcast journalism and geography. Following graduation, Haley plans to attend Mississippi State University to pursue her masters in meteorology with hopes of later becoming a broadcast meteorologist.

Born in the small town of Waverly, Tenn.,  and a graduate of Waverly Central High School, Haley knew she was destined for the Big Orange Country from birth. She is involved on campus in organizations varying from SGA to UT's own Make Orange Green.

In her spare time she likes to read anything and everything. Haley also enjoys watching boys play video games and eating Thai food. She also might suffer from a small obsession with textsfromlastnight.com, but it's nothing too serious.
