Originally from Fayetteville, Ark., Gina Hudson moved to Knoxville in 2004 from Austin, Texas. A senior in Journalism and Electronic Media with a concentration in visual communications, she works as a freelance architectural graphic designer while attending classes. Hudson joined the TNJN staff as a reporter for the Arts and Culture section in 2009 and serves as assistant editor for the Arts and Culture section presently.
An avid sports fan, Hudson is also interested in literature, art, graphic design, technology, science, space and music. Her focus at UT is developing skills in writing, videography, graphic design and motion graphics for television.
