Garrett is a freshman at the University of Tennessee double majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media and French. He grew up in Michigan in the suburbs of Detroit, and left Michigan to come to UT. He has always a fan of the Vols despite growing up in Michigan.

Garrett spends almost all of his free time on sports. He enjoys following, watching, and playing sports. He follows the NFL, NBA, PGA, NCAA football and basketball, Tennis, and European soccer (mostly the English Premier League). Minnesota Vikings, Chelsea FC, any University of Tennessee team, and the Detroit Pistons are his favorite teams in no particular order. His favorite sport to play in the short Michigan summer is golf, but he enjoys all sports.
