Emma Macmillan is a junior in Journalism and Electronic Media, with a focus in Science Communication writing. She is also pursuing a minor in Environmental Studies.

Macmillan started writing for the Tennessee Journalist at the beginning of the 2009 school year. She works as the Sci/Tech Editor and hosts the Campus Voice on TNJN Radio.

Macmillan serves as a leader for the student environmental organization, SPEAK (Students Promoting Environmental Action in Knoxville).

In the future, Macmillan plans on joining the Peace Corps after undergraduate school. Upon returning to the states, she will then pursue a career in writing, wherever her path may lead her.
