I graduated from the University of Tennessee in May, 2009, with a Bachelors degree in journalism and electronic media, with a minor in media arts. My chief interest is working with graphic design elements, but also enjoy writing and editing as well. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, crotcheting, playing tennis, doing art and watching movies. I am also is an avid photographer, and would love to one day have my own freelance business. Or get a job as a graphic designer for a magazine of some sort, whichever comes first.

This was a short and sweet stop. Hamburger delighted in telling the crowd that a boater got into a bit of quicksand and never got out.

Hamburger surprised many in the crowd by revealing that this building had at one time housed a ten-cent peep show. "However, this was closed down and converted into a courthouse. The first people prosecuted were actually the women of the peep show," Hamburger said. "They were publicly hung from the chandelier."

Outside of Arby's, Hamburger gave a lecture on the horrible existence of the establishment, citing that no patron of the restaurant had ever finished their food before throwing it out and walking out. "Let's boo at these two as they walk out right now," he said.

Behind the Tennessee Theatre, Hamburger pointed out the graveyard. "Kenny Chesney is actually buried here," Hamburger said, and continued to say that many, many more festival goers will be buried there after this weekend from hearing all the horrible music in the Theatre.

When the tour walked by Yeehaw, Hamburger commented on the store and what it's future holds. "This is where many shirts have been printed for horrible, horrible bands," Hamburger says. "Thankfully, Kimberly-Clark has taken it over and it will be printing the tampax boxes and manuals for the remainder of the year."

The crowd was huge, so Hamburger had the help of two technicians carrying speakers.

This spot, according to Hamburger, is the spot of two vice-presidential assassinations on the terrace of the Hotel St. Oliver. One of these was the great Vice President Jones.

In Market Square, Hamburger commented on Rita's, and that it was opened in a doomed location. He went on to list about ten businesses that had once graced the venue. This included an factory of his great uncle's that sold special recipe Oreo cookies that were disgusting, so it too went out of business.

The tour began in Krutch Park, where Hamburger cited at the site of 35 to 80 child abductions in the 1970s. These children were later found dead under a rock, and a group of hobos were responsible for the murders. This angered people and an in rash act of vigilante retribution they too were killed.

"The sunsphere is now a water-purification system," Hamburger says. "If you're thirsty you can run down there really quick and grab a cup of water, they've got little cups you can use and whatnot."
