Daniel Kock is a sophomore in Journalism and Electronic Media with a concentration on the Sports Track. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin but has lived in Johnson City, TN since he was two years old.

Kock has been into sports from a young age. He started playing baseball, basketball, and soccer when he was five. Since then, he has followed sports with a passion. At the University of Tennessee he continues to be active in sports. He is currently playing basketball sand volleyball, and flag football intramurals.

Kock could see himself doing either journalism or broadcasting but would prefer to work in radio as of right now.

He began writing for the Tennessee Journalist in the fall of 2009 and currently is doing the Vols in the Pros section.

His favorite teams include the Tennessee Volunteer football and basketball teams. The Green Bay Packers and Atlanta Braves are also teams he loves to watch.

In the future, he would like to end up working in a big city doing play-by-play for a NFL or NCAA football team.
