Delia Foster

Delia Foster is a 24-year Air Force veteran who has lived in Texas, Nebraska, Mississippi, Okinawa, and the Philippines. She graduated from West High School in 1972, and worked as a secretary at Miller's Department Store downtown until 1975, when she enlisted in the Air Force. In Biloxi, MS, and San Angelo, TX she was an electronics intel instructor. During her military stint, she survived a tornado, several typhoons, Hurricane Elena on the Gulf Coast in 1985, a 7.2 earthquake in the P.I., and finally, a huge volcanic eruption (Mt. Pinatubo in 1991) which was accompanied by a typhoon at the same time.
