Clay Seal is a sophomore majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media with a concentration in sports. Clay serves as assistant sports editor for TNJN, covering any Vols and Lady Vols sports from soccer to basketball, as well as writing on FIFA World Cup events. He also appears in the weekly SEC football pick'n panel.

Clay graduated from Turpin High School in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2008. He worked on his high school newspaper "The Lancer" as a staff writer, sports editor, and editor in chief in his sophomore through senior years, respectively.

When not writing, Clay enjoys watching nearly all sports. His favorite teams are the Cincinnati Bengals, Cincinnati Bearcats, Cincinnati Reds, U.S. Soccer, and the Tennessee Volunteers. He plays intramural sports, including soccer and flag football. Clay also pursues his passion of music. He has played guitar for six years. His interest covers many genres, but he mostly plays blues and rock.
