Carey Prince

Carey Prince is currently a Junior at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She is majoring in Public Relations and minoring in both Journalism and Electronic Media and Business.

Carey has already accumulated much experience with Journalism and Electronic Media during her time at the University of Tennessee, as well as during her time in high school. She has been published in UT's print newspaper, the Daily Beacon, as well as Memphis's newspaper, The Commercial Appeal. In 2007, she received an award from Vanderbilt University for an article she wrote on the Birth Order Theory.

With her strong interest in communications, Carey has also gained much leadership experience. In 2009, Carey was selected from a large pool of candidates to serve as a Recruitment Counselor for UT's Panhellenic Organization. She was also asked to serve as a retreat leader for UT's John 23rd Catholic Church. She serves as an officer for her sorrority, Delta Delta Delta, and holds jobs at both the Student Aquatic Center and Laurel Hall on campus.

After college, Carey plans to pursue a career in either Public Relations or Journalism. She is very excited about accumulating as much experience as possible during this time of preparation for a future career.
