Brent Russell is a junior in Communication Studies.  He was born in Maryville, TN.

He is currently working with the Tennessee Journalist, in the sports section.

Russell was raised around sports his entire life.  At Maryville, he played for the 2005 and 2006 state championship football teams. He was coached under one of the best high school football coaches in the state of Tennessee, George Quarles.

Russell is on the TNJN SEC Pick'n Panel, and will be writing in the sports section this semester.
