Betsey is a 2008 graduate of Woodward Academy. She is from Atlanta Georgia and is currently a sophomore at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville studying journalism and electronic media with a minor in English.

Betsey is an intern with the Lady Vols Media Relations office for the second year. With the Lady Vols, Betsey attends the games and events as well as does some work in the office.

Also, Betsey is secretary of the student chapter of the Society of Professional Journalist.

In addition to working with the Lady Vols and SPJ, Betsey is an active member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. She currently holds the position of Chaplin.

Betsey is very involved with the College Life program, a young adult program for members of Church Street United Methodist where she attends church most Sundays.
