Amanda Psihas is a sophomore in the college of communications, and hopes to be a reporter for a radio or television station. Amanda transferred here from New York in her junior year of high school. She enjoys living in Tennessee, and is still adjusting to the culture shock.
Amanda has had a passion and love for both the written and spoken english language. Since a very young age, she has loved writing and performing. She has a passion for news, and when she was younger, often spent time watching "The Weather Channel" with her mother. Her dream career would be to work as an anchor for a News Station, or a meteorologist for a television station.
Amanda will graduate in May 2010, with a major in Journalism, and a double minor in English and Spanish. While looking forward to graduation and experiancing the "real world", she loves her classes and attending the University. She has plans to possibly return to school to recieve her doctrate in Communication or Journalism, and to teach at a university.
