Amber Harding is a sophomore majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media on the sports track and minoring in Political Science. She is currently a staff writer for the Tennessee Journalist as well as chief copy editor for the Daily Beacon, the University of Tennessee's daily newspaper.
Her favorite activities include writing, running, scrap-booking and spending as much time with her family and friends as possible. She loves Miami Dolphin football, Diet Coke, and her two yorkshire terriers, Yankee and Bandit.
Harding graduated from Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, Ind., where she played volleyball and was enthusiastically involved in several extracurricular activities. She served as a class officer, as president of the Cathedral speech team and as managing editor of the Megaphone, CHS's triweekly student newspaper.
Although she enjoys writing of any kind, Harding currently spends her time on the sports section of the Tennessee Journalist. She has always been interested in sports, and in addition to cheering on the Dolphins, Harding is also an avid fan of the New York Yankees, the Indiana Pacers and, of course, the Tennessee Vols. Her ultimate career goal is to become an anchor and columnist for ESPN; however, she appreciates absolutely any opportunity to do what she loves.
