Allison Brittney Goo is a junior in Journalism and Electronic Media at the University of Tennessee with a concentration on news writing. She is also pursuing minors in Communication Studies and Business.

Goo is currently a copy editor for the Tennessee Journalist. She is a member of the Chancellor's Honors Program, as well as other honors societies. Goo has also volunteered with the Special Olympics bowling league since Spring 2009.

Goo was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee.  She graduated from White Station High School, where she was the Underclassmen Section Editor and Technical Editor of the yearbook, The Shield.

During her spare time, Goo enjoys playing the piano, spending time with friends and learning how to cook. In the future, she hopes to attend graduate school and pursue a career in writing or editing.
